One Mind Accelerator Selects Mental Health Startups for Innovation Program
The One Mind Accelerator has announced a new cohort of over a dozen companies focused on healthcare and drug discovery for its mental health innovation program. This 10-week program aims to provide industry expertise and support in areas such as fundraising, business development, and company growth. Participants will receive guidance from One Mind’s network of more than 100 advisors, which includes entrepreneurs, investors, payers, providers, and scientists. The program has a competitive acceptance rate of less than 5%, and sessions are set to begin this week. Companies in this cohort are tackling various aspects of mental health, including central nervous system disorders, depression, substance use disorders, and precision mental healthcare. The accelerator also has a venture arm, the Catalyst Fund, which invests in portfolio companies post-graduation, typically offering $300,000 if certain criteria are met.
