Military Training in Pasadena to Feature Explosions and Simulated Gunfire
Residents of Pasadena have been alerted to expect noise from helicopters, controlled explosions, and simulated weapons fire as the U.S. military conducts a training exercise in the city. Scheduled to begin at dusk and continue until midnight, the exercise will take place at the old St. Luke Hospital building. City officials, including spokesperson Lisa Derderian, have emphasized the importance of public awareness to prevent alarm, especially during election week. The Pasadena police will manage the perimeter and direct traffic away from the training area. This exercise is part of standard military drills conducted across the U.S., aimed at maintaining readiness and operational effectiveness.
