Taiwan Lawmakers Approve $7.6 Billion Budget for Domestic Drone Development Amid Rising Chinese Threat
Taiwanese lawmakers have approved a $7.6 billion budget aimed at significantly bolstering the island's domestic drone industry and defense capabilities. This funding, spread over six years, will focus on developing and procuring aerial and naval drones, including coastal surveillance UAVs, coastal attack UAVs, and small one-way attack unmanned surface vessels.
