Indiana Faces Challenges as Boys and Men Fall Behind in Education and Workforce Participation
A new report by the Sagamore Institute highlights significant challenges facing boys and men in Indiana, who are falling behind in educational achievement, mental health, and workforce participation. The research reveals that boys in Indiana are less likely than girls to graduate high school, attend college, or attain higher education degrees. This educational gap contributes to lower employment rates and higher instances of mental health issues among men, including a suicide rate four times higher than that of women.
