Fiji Cabinet Approves Climate Impact Study for Agriculture
The Fijian Cabinet has approved a new project aimed at assessing the impacts of climate change on the country's agriculture sector, with a particular focus on rice production. This initiative, supported by the Government of Denmark and in partnership with the Pacific Community, seeks to evaluate how climate change is affecting agricultural practices and outputs. The findings from this study are expected to guide government policies, enhance national capacity, and support efforts to make the agriculture sector more resilient to climate impacts.
