Man Indicted for Looting Homes in Dimona Following Missile Strike
Israel Police have filed an indictment against a man accused of looting abandoned homes in Dimona after a missile strike. The suspect allegedly dressed as an emergency worker and used a commercial vehicle to enter evacuated homes, stealing valuables such as air conditioner compressors, copper pipes, cables, and an electric motor. He was arrested shortly after committing the crimes and charged with trespassing, theft, breaking and entering, and using a vehicle to commit a crime. The looting occurred in the aftermath of a missile barrage from Iran and Lebanon, which resulted in over 100 people being wounded across southern Israel, including Dimona and Arad.
