Epic Group Launches Net-Zero Apparel Manufacturing Facility in India
Epic Group has inaugurated a state-of-the-art apparel manufacturing facility in Khurda, India, marking a significant step in sustainable manufacturing. The $100 million Trimetro Manufacturing Campus is the first in India to achieve net-zero carbon and water status. Supported by a $100 million financing package from the International Finance Corporation, the facility is designed to produce 20 million garments annually for global brands. It integrates renewable energy sources and advanced water conservation systems, setting a new standard for environmental sustainability in the apparel industry. The project is expected to create 10,000 jobs, predominantly for women, and strengthen Odisha's position in the global supply chain.
