Rattlesnake Sighting at Warner Parks Highlights Wildlife Presence in Nashville
A timber rattlesnake was recently captured on video at Warner Parks in Nashville, drawing attention to the presence of these venomous snakes in the area. The video, submitted by a local viewer, shows the snake moving across a trail and into nearby vegetation. Timber rattlesnakes are the largest and most dangerous snakes in Tennessee, capable of growing up to five feet long. They are typically found in rocky or forested environments. The sighting coincides with the late summer and early fall mating season for rattlesnakes, a time when they are more active and visible.
