DeTect Implements DroneWatcher for Enhanced Safety at Gulf Coast Air Show
DeTect, a company specializing in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) detection, deployed its DroneWatcher system during the Gulf Coast Salute Air Show to enhance airspace safety. The initiative, in collaboration with local agencies such as the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and Panama City Beach Police, aimed to ensure the safety of beach patrons, law enforcement, and pilots. The DroneWatcher system integrates radar, radio frequency sensing, and multi-spectral imaging technologies to provide comprehensive airspace monitoring. The setup included a 7360 True3D radar, a multi-spectral camera, and a BlueHalo Titan SV, all stationed at Pier Park. This configuration allowed for the detection of a wide range of radio frequency signatures and tracking of both commercial and tactical transmitters. Additionally, the system featured a Remote ID receiving center and an ADS-B receiver to identify compliant aircraft, with all data managed through the DroneWatcher Hub.
