FNIH Honors Dan Doctoroff, Biogen, and NIAMS with Partnership Award
The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) has announced the recipients of the 2026 Charles A. Sanders, MD, Partnership Award. The award will be presented to Dan Doctoroff, founder of Target ALS; Biogen; and the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) for their contributions to advancing biomedical research. Doctoroff played a key role in the Accelerating Medicines Partnership ALS program, while Biogen has supported FNIH initiatives for 15 years. NIAMS has been instrumental in developing the AMP program, transforming the model for diagnostics and treatments. The award ceremony will take place on October 28, 2026, in Washington, D.C.
