Circle of Friends Establishes Endowment to Support Russell County Community Projects
The Circle of Friends, a group originally formed for social gatherings among women, has evolved into a philanthropic entity committed to supporting the Russell County community. They have established a permanent endowment with the Russell County Area Community Foundation (RCACF). This endowment is aimed at funding projects that are important to the community, such as local childcare initiatives. The fund is designed to provide long-term support and strengthen the community for future generations. Donations to the Circle of Friends Fund are tax-deductible and can be made through various means, including checks, credit card donations, and gifts of stock, grain, and livestock. Additionally, donors have the option to include the fund in their estate plans, ensuring a lasting impact on the community.
