Equinox Continues to Provide Critical Human Services in New York's Capital Region
Equinox, a human services organization with deep roots in New York's Capital Region, is actively providing critical support to individuals and families. The organization's mission is to change lives and strengthen communities through a continuum of human services, helping those they serve move towards recovery, healing, and independence. Founded in 1947, Equinox has a dedicated staff of 135 and serves approximately 3,500 people annually across 10 locations, including residential facilities. They address issues such as domestic violence, drug and alcohol addictions, mental health disorders, homelessness, and the challenges associated with poverty and violence.
