China's Village Super League Spurs Agricultural Opportunities in Guizhou
The Village Super League, also known as 'Cun Chao,' is a grassroots football tournament taking place in Rongjiang County, Guizhou Province, China. The event, held from July 18 to 19, has become a platform for promoting local agricultural products. Around 100 booths showcased regional specialties such as golden passion fruit, tea, and Rosa roxburghii drinks. The event also featured a live e-commerce sales event, where local products were marketed to a broader audience. Yuan Kepeng, a staff member of a participating company, noted that the popularity of the league has increased awareness of Rongjiang's agricultural products beyond Guizhou, reaching coastal areas like Guangdong Province. The tournament has also attracted tourists, who engage with local markets and activities, thereby boosting local consumption.
