Prominent Realtor and Family Found Dead in Doral Murder-Suicide
A tragic incident in Doral, Florida, has left a prominent realtor, Melanie Hyer, her two young daughters, and the girls' father dead in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide. The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office discovered the bodies during a welfare check at a home in the Doral Isles neighborhood. The victims, including 46-year-old Hyer, 11-year-old Savannah Whiten, 8-year-old Sienna Whiten, and 42-year-old Ryan Charles Whiten, were found with stab wounds. Hyer was a well-known probate real estate professional, and the news has shocked the local community, including Doral Mayor Christi Fraga, who expressed her condolences. The family was reportedly co-parenting after separating years ago. The investigation is ongoing, with no motive yet disclosed.
