Police Seize Over $2 Million in Illegal Drugs in San Clemente Raid
Police in San Clemente, California, have seized more than $2 million worth of illegal drugs and cash following a search of a couple's home. The operation began when Simi Valley police discovered drugs and money in a woman's car during a probation appointment drop-off. The search, conducted under the terms of the man's probation, revealed approximately two kilograms of ketamine and $8,000 in cash. The couple, identified as Jason Klausmeyer and April Baird, were arrested on suspicion of possession and transportation of ketamine for sales. A subsequent search of their home and storage units uncovered a large cache of drugs, including 85,000 counterfeit Adderall pills, 25,000 Ecstasy pills, 30 pounds of ketamine, one pound of fentanyl, seven pounds of cocaine, and 10 pounds of Psilocybin mushrooms, along with $13,505 in cash and $13,750 in gold and silver currency.
