Spencer Pratt Leads Fundraising in Los Angeles Mayoral Race
Spencer Pratt, a candidate in the Los Angeles mayoral race, has surpassed his competitors in fundraising, according to recent campaign finance filings. Between April 19 and May 16, Pratt raised approximately $2.72 million, significantly more than incumbent Mayor Karen Bass, who raised about $283,000 in the same period. Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman reported raising around $400,000. Pratt's campaign, fueled by viral videos and a focus on public safety and homelessness, has gained traction despite the city's Democratic leanings. Early voting is underway, with the primary election scheduled for June 2.
