Pennsylvania Attorney General Charges 14 in Cocaine Trafficking Ring Involving Penn State Fraternities
Pennsylvania authorities have charged 14 individuals in connection with a cocaine trafficking operation that allegedly involved two Penn State fraternities. The investigation, which spanned from 2023 to 2024, identified former students Agostino Abbatiello of Westbury, New York, and Thomas Michael Robinson of Pittsburgh as the alleged ringleaders. Abbatiello, a member of Sigma Chi, and Robinson, a member of Delta Upsilon, are accused of forcing fellow fraternity members and pledges to package kilos of cocaine. The drugs were reportedly supplied from Philadelphia and New York and then packaged for sale to Penn State students. Three other alleged dealers, Mohammed Huraibi, Lars Zeepvat, and Robert Zanolla, were also identified. Additionally, eight other current or former students face misdemeanor drug charges. Thomas Robinson's father, Paul Robinson, is accused of helping conceal evidence by providing a safe for drugs and cash.
