Kyiv Mourns as Russian Missile Attack Death Toll Rises to 24
The death toll from a Russian missile attack on a Kyiv apartment building has risen to 24, including three teenagers. The attack, which occurred during Russia's largest aerial assault on Ukraine since the full-scale invasion, targeted a nine-story residential block. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky led the mourning, visiting the site along with other officials and foreign diplomats. The attack is part of a series of large-scale aerial assaults by Russia, which have intensified following a brief ceasefire. The Ukrainian air force reported that Russia launched over 1,560 drones against Ukrainian targets, causing widespread damage.
