Woman Injured in Unicycle Collision on San Francisco's Great Highway
A woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by an electric unicycle while crossing the Great Highway in San Francisco. The incident occurred at the intersection of Lawton Street, where the woman was pushing a stroller with a young child, accompanied by a small black dog and the child's grandmother. The unicyclist, who was traveling at an estimated speed of 25 mph, claimed that the dog's leash obstructed his path. Despite sustaining injuries, the unicyclist declined medical care. The San Francisco Police Department arrived shortly after the accident to interview the unicyclist and document the scene but did not take him into custody. The unicyclist left the scene on his unicycle after the interview.
