Israeli Soldier Killed by Explosive Drone in Southern Lebanon; Multiple Injuries Reported
Sgt. Idan Fooks, a 19-year-old soldier from Petah Tikva, was killed in a drone strike in southern Lebanon. The incident involved an explosive drone targeting the 77th Battalion of the 'Sa’ar MiGolan' Brigade. Alongside Fooks, an officer and three soldiers were seriously wounded, while two others sustained moderate to light injuries. The attack occurred during an evacuation operation, where additional drones were launched, one of which was intercepted and exploded near the troops without causing further casualties. In response, the Israeli military initiated artillery and airstrikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in the region.
