Fatal Crash in Cleveland Claims One Life, Injures Two Others
A severe two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of East 55th Street and Cedar Avenue in Cleveland, resulting in one fatality and two hospitalizations. According to Cleveland Police, fire, and EMS officials, a man was pronounced dead, while a 1-year-old child and another individual were taken to University Hospitals. The child is reported to be in stable condition. The crash was so forceful that one of the vehicles, a Lincoln Town car, was split into multiple pieces, and a blue Hyundai Sonata also sustained significant damage. A witness reported seeing a car speeding well above 40 or 50 mph just before the incident, describing it as 'floating down the street.' Detectives and crime scene investigators were on site late Thursday to process the scene and gather information as the investigation remains ongoing.
