Among the beneficiaries are Prima Mente, which focuses on decoding biological languages to understand neurological diseases, and Twig Bio, which is developing AI-driven strain design for biomanufacturing. The programme offers access to the UK's supercomputing resources, fast-track visas for hiring international talent, and other support to help these companies scale and compete globally. The initiative is designed to foster home-grown AI innovation and maintain the UK's competitive edge in the field.
