Memphis Rappers Arrested for Alleged Robbery and Kidnapping of Gucci Mane
Two Memphis rappers, Lontrell Williams Jr., known as Pooh Shiesty, and Rodney Wright Jr., known as Big30, along with seven others, have been arrested following an FBI investigation into an alleged robbery and kidnapping incident. The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that the group is accused of robbing and kidnapping multiple victims, including Atlanta rapper Radric Davis, known as Gucci Mane, at a music studio in Dallas. The incident reportedly involved holding the victims at gunpoint, forcing one to sign a release form, and stealing cash and high-value items such as a Rolex and jewelry. The arrests were made in Memphis, Nashville, and Dallas, and the DOJ has presented evidence including electronic monitoring, cell phone records, and social media posts linking the defendants to the crime.
