Iran Utilizes Advanced Missiles to Challenge Middle East Air Defenses
Iran has been deploying Kheibar Shekan missiles, which are cost-effective, mobile, and highly accurate, in recent strikes against US assets in the Middle East. These missiles, capable of a range of at least 1,400 kilometers, are designed to evade air defenses by being pre-fueled and quickly deployable. Despite US and Israeli efforts to intercept these missiles, some have penetrated defenses due to their advanced maneuverability and speed. Iran is also combining these missile launches with high-speed drones and less sophisticated missiles to target air defense radars and US military bases in the region.
