Flash Flood Warning Issued for Charleston County, SC
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood warning for parts of coastal Charleston County, South Carolina, including Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, and Isle of Palms. This warning is in effect until 4:15 p.m. local time on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Additionally, a flood watch remains active for Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, and Colleton Counties until 10 p.m. A special marine warning has also been issued for the coastal waters off Charleston County, effective until 2:30 p.m. These advisories come as heavy rainfall continues to impact the region, increasing the risk of localized flooding in low-lying and poorly drained areas.
