Conduent Data Breach Expands, Affecting Millions More Americans
A significant data breach at Conduent, a major government technology contractor, has been revealed to affect far more individuals than initially reported. The breach, which occurred in January 2025, was initially thought to impact 4 million people in Texas. However, recent disclosures indicate that at least 15.4 million Texans are affected, representing about half of the state's population. Additionally, 10.5 million individuals in Oregon have been impacted, according to the state's attorney general. The breach has also affected residents in Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and other states.
