Estancia High School Awards $2.4 Million in Scholarships to Graduating Class
Estancia High School in Costa Mesa celebrated its Class of 2026 with a commencement ceremony held at the Jim Scott Stadium. The graduating class, consisting of 241 students, collectively earned $2.4 million in scholarships. These scholarships include prestigious titles such as Merit Scholars, Balboa Bay Scholars, SOY Scholars, and AVID Scholars, along with numerous community scholarships. Approximately 42% of the graduates plan to attend four-year universities, including UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, and Yale University. Meanwhile, 55% of the students aim to pursue a two-year degree, and 1% have chosen to serve in the military. Principal Michael Halt praised the students for their hard work and determination, highlighting their academic excellence and readiness to enter the workforce or serve in the U.S. Marine Corps.
