Cranston Police Arrest Multiple Individuals Following Gun Scare at Lang's Bowlarama
Cranston Police responded to Lang's Bowlarama after receiving a 911 call from a customer reporting a patron with a gun in a backpack who allegedly made threats. Body camera footage released by the police shows officers arresting Jayden Rodriguez, 19, of Cranston, who denied the allegations, stating he was "just eating wings." During the arrest, several individuals accompanying Rodriguez reportedly interfered with officers. Another individual, Ismael Monge, 19, of Woonsocket, was also arrested in connection with the incident, and a 16-year-old boy was taken into custody. The owners of Lang's Bowlarama, Rich and Dave Lang, thanked the police for their swift response and the customer for reporting the perceived threat, emphasizing their cooperation with the investigation and their commitment to maintaining a safe environment. The suspects are facing multiple charges.
