Bridgeport Police Seize Fentanyl, Cocaine, Heroin, and Marijuana in East Side House Raid
Bridgeport police, in collaboration with FBI task force officers, seized a significant quantity of fentanyl pills, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana during a search of an East Side house on Ohio Avenue. The raid, conducted on Wednesday night, resulted in the confiscation of 1,555.82 grams of fentanyl pills, 209.19 grams of cocaine, 2.4 grams of heroin, and 1,704.08 grams of marijuana. Investigators also discovered a press used to compress powdered narcotics into kilograms, along with other narcotics packaging equipment and materials. Bridgeport Police Chief Roderick Porter commended the investigative work, stating that preventing these dangerous narcotics from reaching the public has saved lives in Bridgeport and beyond. Search warrants were also executed at Morales Market and two locations in Shelton, though no evidence was found at these additional sites.
