Florida Dominates List of America's Sweatiest Cities
A recent study by beverage company Waterboy has identified Florida as home to seven of the top ten 'sweatiest cities' in the United States. West Palm Beach leads the list with a Hydration Demand Score of 58.9, followed by Miami at 51 and Fort Myers at 46.4. The study analyzed climate data, including heat index, average temperature, dew point, and humidity, to rank cities on a scale of 0 to 100. Other Florida cities in the top ten include Melbourne, Tampa, and Orlando. Outside of Florida, Honolulu, New Orleans, Houston, and Jacksonville also made the list. The study highlights the challenges of high humidity and heat, particularly in tropical and southeastern regions.
