Law Enforcement Responds to Bomb Threat at Vanderbilt-Clarksville Hospital, No Devices Found
Local law enforcement agencies, including the Clarksville Police and Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, are actively investigating a bomb threat at Vanderbilt-Clarksville Hospital. The threat was reported on Sunday morning when a caller claimed that multiple pipe bombs had been placed around the hospital property. In response, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad was notified, and a comprehensive search of the hospital's entrances, trash cans, dumpsters, and perimeter was conducted. Emergency services, including Fire Rescue and EMS, were also on the scene, establishing operations around the hospital campus. As a precaution, EMS diverted incoming transports to Sango ER, while emergency personnel secured the area. Despite the thorough search, no explosive devices have been located at this time.
