Bloomington Crash Results in Fatality After Minivan Rolls Over and Strikes Bridge
A tragic accident occurred on Highway 100 in Bloomington, Minnesota, early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a driver. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of a Honda Odyssey lost control of the vehicle while heading southbound, causing it to roll over and strike the I-494 bridge. The crash, which happened shortly after 5:30 a.m., left the minivan severely damaged and engulfed in flames. Traffic cameras captured the aftermath, and the southbound lanes of Highway 100 were closed for several hours during the morning commute as crews investigated the scene. The identity of the driver has not been released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
