Colorado Park Introduces $550,000 Self-Cleaning Smart Bathroom to Enhance Visitor Experience
A new $550,000 self-cleaning 'smart bathroom' has been installed at Aga Park in Fountain, Colorado, replacing an outdated 1970s-era restroom. This modern facility is designed to reduce maintenance efforts for city staff, especially during the busy summer months. The smart bathroom features ADA-accessible double restrooms, automatic cleaning with water jets, and systems for restocking soap and toilet paper. It also includes anti-vandalism walls and automatic locking mechanisms. The City of Fountain, which has been investing in park upgrades, views this installation as a long-term investment to improve visitor experiences and reduce labor costs.
