U.S. Cyber Agency Lacks Access to Anthropic's Advanced AI Model Amid Security Concerns
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), responsible for securing critical U.S. infrastructure, does not have access to Anthropic's new AI model, Mythos Preview. This model, known for its ability to quickly identify and exploit security vulnerabilities, is being tested by over 40 companies and organizations. Despite its potential to enhance cybersecurity defenses, Anthropic has withheld public release due to concerns over its powerful capabilities. The exclusion of CISA from the list of entities testing Mythos raises concerns about the agency's ability to protect against AI-powered cyber threats, as industries face increasing risks.
