Kitten Rescued from Mississippi Tornado Rubble by Storm Chaser
In the aftermath of a tornado that struck a trailer park in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, storm chaser Ashton Lemley discovered a kitten trapped in the debris. The tornado was one of at least three that hit the region, causing significant damage and injuring several residents. Lemley, while surveying the destruction, heard the faint meows of the kitten and managed to locate and rescue it from beneath the rubble. The kitten, though wet and frightened, appeared uninjured and was handed over to the United Cajun Navy, a volunteer disaster-response group, for care and safety.
