Amentum Guides Army Aviators at Fort Rucker, Reintroducing Solo Cross-Country Flights

For over 40 years, Amentum's instructors, many of whom are former military aviators, have trained more than 40,000 pilots. This marks a renewed focus on foundational skills within the Army's aviation training curriculum. Amentum delivers the entire flight training curriculum, including classroom instruction, simulator practice, and hands-on flight training, guiding trainees through an intensive 20-week program. This program takes students from no cockpit experience to acquiring advanced skills such as tactical flying and navigation, culminating in independent operation of an aircraft for cross-country navigation.
