Ukrainian Drone Operators Excel in U.S. Military Exercises in Germany
Ukrainian drone operators demonstrated their advanced capabilities during the Combined Resolve exercise in Germany, effectively 'destroying' a U.S. brigade. The exercise, which involved about 3,500 U.S. service members, tested the ability to employ and counter drones. Ukrainian operators from the 412th Nemesis Regiment played a key role, using their combat experience to challenge U.S. forces. The exercise highlighted vulnerabilities in American forces to drone attacks, despite significant investments in drone technologies and countermeasures. The Ukrainian operators' success in the exercise underscores the strategic importance of drones in modern warfare, as they were able to disable American equipment rapidly, necessitating its return to the exercise as new units.
