Montpelier Seeks Resident for Wrightsville Beach Recreation District Board Vacancy
The City of Montpelier is actively seeking a community-minded resident to fill a vacant position on the Wrightsville Beach Recreation District Board of Directors. This multi-town board, which also includes representatives from Middlesex, East Montpelier, and Worcester, is responsible for overseeing the policy, operations, and long-term stewardship of Wrightsville Beach. The board manages popular amenities such as swimming areas, kayaking and canoe rentals, disc golf courses, picnic shelter rentals, and extensive trail access along the reservoir. Montpelier appoints two resident representatives to this board. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their applications to the City Council online.
