Police Release Bodycam Footage of Discovery of Murdered Pennsylvania College Student
Authorities have released police bodycam footage showing the discovery of Karoline Heintz, a Pennsylvania college student, whose body was found in the back of her vehicle. The discovery led to the arrest of her boyfriend, Royce Moser, 18, who faces a homicide charge. According to court documents, Moser claimed a 'demon' told him to stab Heintz. The footage, from an officer's body-worn camera, shows the California, Pennsylvania, police officer approaching Heintz's Jeep in the dark, shining a flashlight inside, and then urgently calling for EMS after discovering her body and noting 'blood everywhere.' The officer subsequently broke two windows to gain access to the vehicle. Moser's mother, Rachel Moser, is also accused of helping him cover up the crime, allegedly telling him to bathe, washing his clothes, and disposing of the knife. Heintz's body was found on August 20 after her father reported her missing when she failed to return to PennWest California University.
