Chinese Delivery Driver and Poet Wins Prestigious Literary Award
Wang Jibing, a food delivery driver from rural China, has won the Lu Xun Prize, one of China's highest literary honors, for his poetry collection 'Low Flight.' Despite his humble occupation, Wang has written over 6,000 poems, often on scraps of paper during his delivery shifts. His work, particularly the poem 'A Man Rushing For Time,' resonates with many due to its reflection of the struggles and experiences of migrant workers in urban China. The poem captures the relentless pace of life and the challenges faced by those in the delivery industry.
