San Francisco Police Investigate Disappearance of Chantel Brooks, Missing for Three Weeks
Chantel Brooks, a 36-year-old desk clerk at the Le Nain Hotel in San Francisco's Tenderloin district, has been missing since July 17. She was last seen leaving the hotel at 12:20 a.m. and later at a CVS in Fairfield around 1:45 a.m. on the same day. Brooks' disappearance has prompted a joint investigation by the San Francisco, Fairfield, and Oakland police departments, with Fairfield taking the lead. Her family has been actively searching, distributing flyers, and holding vigils to raise awareness. Brooks is described as 5'5" with a medium brown complexion, brown eyes, and black hair. She was last seen wearing a red hoodie, gray sweatpants, a brown multi-colored brimmed hat, and brown fur boots. Her vehicle, a black 2021 Infiniti QX50 SUV, was last noted in East Oakland.
