Two Arrested in Henderson County, Texas, on Drug Charges Following Home Search
Two individuals, Brodric Cumby and Clayton Westmoreland, were arrested in Henderson County, Texas, after authorities conducted a search of their home. The search, which took place on Friday evening, was executed at a residence located in the 700 Block of West Corsicana Street in Athens. Narcotics investigators from the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, along with deputies, obtained a warrant based on the suspicion of illegal narcotics being present at the property. During the search, law enforcement officials reportedly discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, a firearm, and various drug paraphernalia. Both Cumby and Westmoreland were subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Henderson County Jail. They have both been charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance.
