Suspect Arrested After Lengthy CHP Pursuit Across Southern California Counties
A suspect was apprehended by California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers after a prolonged pursuit through multiple Southern California counties. The chase began in Ventura County due to a traffic infraction and was later taken over by CHP. Initially, the suspect was thought to be wanted for attempted murder, but it was later clarified that the charge was evading. The pursuit spanned several freeways, including the 101, 134, and 210, before concluding on the 15 Freeway in Barstow. The suspect was arrested without incident after driving at reduced speeds in San Bernardino County.
