Adobe's Indigo Camera App Integrates Generative AI for Enhanced Photo Editing
Adobe has updated its Indigo camera app with a suite of generative AI tools, known as the 'AI Playground.' This experimental feature allows users to apply AI-generated effects, remove objects, and receive photo critiques. The update includes sections like Styles, Object Editing, Photo Guidance, and Custom Edit, each offering unique AI-driven functionalities. Users can opt out of these features, which are currently being tested with a small percentage of Indigo users. Adobe aims to learn from user interactions with these tools, potentially expanding the experiment based on its success. The integration of generative AI marks a shift from the app's original focus on providing a natural, SLR-like photography experience.
