Bruch Brothers Establish $360,000 Endowment for Olami Poland Trips
Tech entrepreneurs Zach and Max Bruch have announced a $360,000 endowment to support Olami Manhattan's annual trips to Poland for young Jewish adults. This initiative, named the Bruch Family Foundation Poland Trip, aims to provide participants with a profound connection to their heritage by visiting significant Holocaust sites such as Auschwitz and Birkenau. The Bruch brothers, who co-founded the online gambling site MyPrize, have a personal connection to this cause, as their ancestor, Rabbi Yom-Tov Lipmann Heller, was a 17th-century Torah scholar imprisoned in Vienna. The trips, organized by Olami Manhattan, have been running for over a decade and are designed to be both educational and emotionally impactful, allowing participants to explore personal family histories and the broader Jewish experience during the Holocaust.
