West Chester Woman Charged with Attempted Murder in Downingtown Shooting
A 60-year-old woman from West Chester, identified as Debra Dora, has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting incident in Downingtown. The Chester County District Attorney's Office reported that officers responded to a shooting on the 200 block of Chestnut Street on July 19. Upon arrival, they found Dora in possession of a firearm. The victim, who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, was taken to the hospital. Dora is currently held at Chester County Prison on a $750,000 bail. The incident is attributed to a personal dispute that escalated into violence.
