Black Gold Farms Leaders Participate in National Agriculture Day Event Highlighting U.S. Farming
Executives from Black Gold Farms, a Grand Forks-based agricultural company, participated in the National Agriculture Day event held at the U.S. Department of Agriculture headquarters in Washington, D.C. Gregg Halverson, the board chairman, and Leah Halverson, CEO and founder of Ten Acre Marketing, joined other agricultural leaders to launch the 'Voice of the Farmer Garden' exhibit. This interactive outdoor garden aims to emphasize the significance of agriculture to the U.S. economy and foster connections between consumers and farmers. Black Gold Farms contributed seed potatoes for the planting ceremony, underscoring their commitment to agricultural advocacy and food security. The event also featured participation from Steven Williams, PepsiCo executive vice president, and included discussions on the administration's agriculture agenda.
