U.S. Rep. Dale Strong Secures $10.8 Million Federal Grant for Redstone Arsenal Access Project
U.S. Rep. Dale Strong (R-Huntsville) announced a $10.8 million federal grant for the Resolute Way Interchange project in Huntsville, Alabama. This funding is designated to improve access to Redstone Arsenal and alleviate traffic congestion. The Resolute Way project is a multi-phase initiative, with this new federal grant supporting both Phase 1 and accelerating Phase 2. Phase 1 involves constructing approximately 2.1 miles of new roadway connecting I-565 and Madison Boulevard with Redstone Gateway, near the Arsenal's main entrance. Phase 2 will reconfigure Exit 13 westbound at Madison Boulevard, relocate Governors West, and create a full-access interchange.
