Philadelphia Brinks Truck Heist Nets $1.8 Million, FBI Leads Investigation
In the Tacony section of Philadelphia, two armed men stole $1.8 million from a Brinks armored truck. The robbery took place around 9:45 a.m. on Torresdale Avenue. The suspects, armed with assault rifles, fled in a blue Acura SUV, which was later found by police. The FBI is now leading the investigation. The truck was servicing a Budget Financial Center at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported, and police are interviewing witnesses in the busy business district.
