IOM Enhances Support for Unaccompanied Minors in Greece with New Shelter Coordinator Role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is strengthening its support for unaccompanied migrant children in Greece by appointing a Shelter Coordinator for its accommodation centers. These centers provide essential services such as accommodation, legal counseling, psychosocial support, and educational programs. The new role involves overseeing the operation of these centers, ensuring the facilities are well-maintained, and that the children receive quality care and support. The coordinator will also manage staff schedules, supervise the implementation of programs, and ensure effective communication and cooperation among staff members.
